WRMP(FM) was established by Robert M Parr (hence the call sign) in Allen Park Michigan (Detroit market) in the '60s and operated for a little over a year before it was sold and the call letters changed. It had a Gates 10KW transmitter but I do not recall the ERP or HAAT. Although Parr was a minister (Gilead Baptist Church), the station format was not religious except for a broadcast of his Sunday services. I served as the general manager, on-air talent, chief engineer and janitor, overseeing a very small staff.
